Acoustic Enclosure

A good acoustic enclosure is not simply a metal box with insulation inside. It must be engineered as a complete noise control system. The design must consider the noise source, required noise reduction, equipment size, ventilation airflow, heat load, access doors, removable panels, cable or pipe penetrations, exhaust openings, and long-term serviceability.

Depending on the application, an ISTIQ Acoustic Enclosure may include acoustic wall and roof panels, acoustic doors, viewing windows, intake and discharge silencers, acoustic louvers, ventilation fans, exhaust silencers, anti-vibration considerations, lifting points, and weather protection features.

For equipment that generates heat or requires airflow, acoustic design must be balanced with proper ventilation. If the enclosure is too restrictive, it may reduce noise but create overheating, high pressure drop, or operational problems. If it is too open, the equipment may operate well, but the noise reduction will be poor. The best enclosure design must achieve both.

ISTIQ offers effective acoustic enclosure solutions for various applications, including press machines, compressors, blowers, and fans in commercial settings, data centers, oil and gas industries, utilities, manufacturing, and power generation. Our expertise encompasses design, fabrication, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning, tailored to meet each project's specific requirements.
