RTS CIQ Singapore–Johor Bahru

ISTIQ Noise Control supplied and installed STC 45 acoustic doors and 9mm polyester PET panels for designated function rooms and board rooms within the Johor Bahru–Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link project. The RTS Link is a major cross-border transportation infrastructure project connecting Bukit Chagar in Johor Bahru with Woodlands North in Singapore, with dedicated Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) facilities on both sides.

The project required a combination of sound isolation and interior acoustic treatment for the designated spaces. ISTIQ’s scope covered the supply and installation of STC 45 acoustic doors to support sound isolation between rooms, together with 9mm polyester PET acoustic panels as an architectural acoustic treatment solution.

Completed over a 2-month project duration, this project demonstrates ISTIQ Noise Control’s capability to deliver multiple architectural acoustic solutions within a major infrastructure environment, supporting the requirements of architects, consultants, contractors and project teams.
